Stem mastering vs stereo mastering
Standard mastering works on one finished stereo mix. With stem mastering I work from a small number of grouped stems, so I can adjust the balance and tone between them while mastering. The booking form explains how to prepare and export them.
It is not always the better choice. If your mix already sounds the way you want, standard stereo mastering is often all you need.
Who it is for
Artists, producers and labels who want a little more room to refine the balance at the mastering stage - for example on a self-mixed track - without booking a full mix.
How it works
- Send your project details and files through the booking form. No payment is taken when you submit.
- I review the project. Once I accept it, you pay the start fee and I get started.
- I send you a first version, and you can request up to 3 revisions, all included in the price.
- When the master is approved and the remaining balance is paid, your final master files are delivered through a secure download link.
